Job Description/Role

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the business.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to sales representatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including florists, retailers, event planners, and other stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service and support.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track sales activities, and generate regular sales reports.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and social media to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the flowers, horticulture, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for flowers and a deep understanding of the floral industry is a plus.
