Overview Of The Role: We are looking for a Senior Accountant to act as a controller in our dealership and support the business to run as per policies and guidelines issued by the management. This role will report to the Finance Business Partner (FBP) and will be responsible for both Toyota and Lexus Units and Aftersales

What You Will Do:

  • Perform regular branch-level financial reviews and variance analysis with FBP/Branch Management to ensure branch performance aligns with budgets/forecasts
  • Support FBP/Branch Management in reviewing KPI trends, preparing reports/analysis for monthly branch reviews
  • Monitor and control branch indirect costs and ensure all branch POs are created and GRs completed within the relevant months
  • Oversee sales accounting and cash control, ensuring all documentation is complete as per company procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures for the release of sales letters, gate passes, and validation of sales document packs
  • Monitor clearance of open POs and follow up with the team concerned
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage for dealership stock, cash, assets, and other components
  • Participate in and support the smooth conduct of annual stock counts
  • Ensure timely submission of finance deal packs and credit invoices to customers and follow up for early collection of outstanding invoices
  • Facilitate group internal audit review of branch operations and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations
  • Provide appropriate training to the branch finance team and support managers, sales team, and sales admin on business processes

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skill

About The Team: You will be part of a dynamic finance team that supports various branches (Sales & Aftersales) within the dealership. The team collaborates closely with branch management, sales teams, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies
