About the job
The role holder assists with planning and co-ordination in support of HR plans and projects. Work is assigned by the manager, with specific direction and periodic review of progress and results, although the role holder will be required to work autonomously with the assigned task and liaise with the business as required regarding details. Work will be delivered in accordance with functional policy and guidelines, preferred suppliers and budget restrictions.
- Assists the relevant HR team with planning and delivery of specific work activities
- Supports HR activities as required in support of the employee life-cycle
- Supports line managers with basic HR activity and queries
- Coordinates events/HR programmers as required, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed of progress
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good standard of education – HR or business related qualification preferred
Job Specific Experience
- Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks
- Previous experience in an HR environment preferred
- Knowledge of: Changing regulatory environment preferred
- Experience of: Supporting the achievement of performance targets
