Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, performing cost evaluations, and identifying opportunities for financial efficiency and risk management across the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with various departments to drive financial insights and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Cost Evaluation:
Conduct detailed financial analysis of projects and departments, evaluating revenue, vendor costs, team expenses, and overheads.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Cost Control & Risk Management:
Perform in-depth cost analysis to identify inefficiencies.
Monitor expense trends, highlight potential risks and cost overruns.
Provide data-driven financial insights to aid in decision-making.
Refine financial policies to enhance cost control measures.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and audits.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
Analyze financial variances and identify cost trends to support strategic planning.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Work with different departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Support automation initiatives to improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or cost control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and audit requirements.
Software Skills
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
