We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial management, and a passion for the manufacturing and food production sector. As a Financial Analyst, you will provide critical insights to support decision-making and financial planning for the company’s operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances from budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify trends and financial risks, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Track and report on the company’s financial performance against budgeted targets, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, raw material expenses, and overheads to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Develop and monitor cost-control measures to improve profitability.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure the company maintains an optimal balance of working capital.
  • Prepare cash flow projections to support short- and long-term financial planning.
  • Build financial models to support business cases for new projects, capital expenditures, or expansion plans.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis to assess various financial scenarios and their impact on the company’s bottom line.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in the manufacturing, food production, or FMCG sector.
  • Strong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with cost analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements in the UAE.
