Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Accountant to support our Toyota & Lexus showroom and workshop. This role involves working closely with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) – Retail to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies
What You Will Do:
- Collect payments from customers through various methods, post payments for online transfers, and ensure daily deposits
- Post petty cash documents, monitor petty cash float, and ensure timely reimbursements
- Verify cash and cheque transactions, perform surprise cash counts, and ensure adherence to company policies
- RTA eWallet Management: Reconcile daily transactions, post documents, and monitor cash float
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, maintain credit customer accounts, and ensure timely collections
- Process financial transactions, ensure documentation accuracy, and manage intra and internal sales.
- Conduct finance-related processes in compliance with company policies, support in monitoring Opex & Capex, and carry out ad hoc tasks as require
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance
- 3 to 5 experience as an Accountant
- Familiar in ERP such as SAP, Oracle and or Microsoft Dynamics
- Accounts Receivables experienc

What Equips You For The Role:
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Familiarity with revenue collection, petty cash management, and accounts receivables
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools, particularly SAP
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
