Exciting Opportunity for Junior Accountant – Automotive Division

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional eager to build your career in a fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team and support the Chief Accountant in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and preparing reports. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in accounting who are looking to grow within a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Chief Accountant in financial reporting and daily accounting operations.
– Monitor daily sales transactions and ensure proper documentation.
– Track and report on aging of accounts receivables.
– Receive and verify cash and cheque collections from the sales team.
– Review daily sales invoices and receipt vouchers for accuracy.
– Handle the deposit of daily cash and cheque collections to the bank.
– Generate monthly reports, including supplier-wise sales summaries and sales comparisons.
– Monitor depreciation of fixed assets and track prepayments.
– Support the sales team with invoicing and receipt voucher preparation when needed.
– Manage and reconcile petty cash fund.
– Assist the Inventory Controller as required.
– Participate in exhibitions and support events as directed by management.
– Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; equivalent accounting training is acceptable.
– Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
– Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
– Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of accounting software is required.
– Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and a collaborative attitude.
