Job Title: Finance Business Partner, Associate

Location: Dubai
Overview Of Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team, supporting the Head of Finance and Vice President Finance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
General Accounting Function:

  • Fluently oversee all accounting functions for all the Entities in the Middle East SAP Management accounting and ERP systems.
  • Manage all general accounting functions including but not limited to : general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset and cash/banking transactions, tax transactions for all the entities
  • Update ledgers and prepare schedules /reconciliations of ledgers.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Propose operational process improvements and motivate employees to embrace change

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare timely financial reports – monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Monitor monthly actuals vs and ensure budget adherence across all the entities.

Tax

  • Assist to Prepare and file VAT and income tax reports within UAE regulations

Audits

  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits, showcasing your meticulous attention to detail.

Controls:

  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Continuously improve accounting and warehouse processes for efficiency and cross-departmental collaboration.

Experience, Skills And Competencies Required:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong MS office including high level of excel proficiency (including pivot tables); able to manage large volumes of data
  • Accounting: min 3 years (Preferred)
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle ), advanced MS Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and good analytical skills.
  • Additional relevant qualifications such as ICAEW, CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA (part-qualification also accepted)
  • Role would suit someone who has experience of working in a corporate environment, preferably in financial services or other professional services industries
  • Experience of SAP accounting package preferable
