SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As an Accountant you will be responsible for Treasury Accounting functions by coordinating, initiating and following up on processes and practices accurately to ensure that accounting books and records are adequately maintained, and standards are met.
This position is focused on our Emiratization requirements and we are targeting UAE Nationals only to apply. It is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and reports directly to the Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to record all customers’ receipts to facilitate credit control system and maintenance of accurate customer accounts
- Plan supplier payments after analysing the Payables Ledger
- Support in preparing payments to all suppliers on time and reconcile their accounts to ensure timely payments
- Handle Petty Cash by checking completeness of documents to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Assist in daily monitoring of transactions in Bank and overdraft levels
- Support the Chief Accountant with information related to cashflow projections and support with documentation for audits
- Ensure a clear archiving and filing process is in place for financial records
- Responsible to provide accurate accounting information to superiors as and when needed

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in Finance
- Fluent in Arabic in English
