Job Description/Role
Position Overview:
Seasoned experienced Sales professional with demonstrating a proven track record of consistently surpassing targets and propelling growth. This pivotal role demands strong leadership acumen, strategic foresight, and a profound comprehension of sales processes spanning various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
- Design and implement training programs for the sales team to continuously enhance their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10-12 years of experience in sales management with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels within the organization.
