Job Description/Role
A results-driven finance executive with over 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development. Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational efficiency in dynamic corporate environments.
What you will deliver:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss
- account and Balance Sheet.
- Generating and recording the revenue invoices on daily basis
- VAT Registration and Return Submission
- Corporate Tax Registration and Return Submission
- Ensuring all sales are recorded accurately and there is a robust system in place for
- highlighting issues, preparing various reports
- Cash & Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that the system of recording, invoicing is done in an effective manner and that that
- debtors are tracked and monitored periodically.
- Accounts Payable
- Maintenance of the purchasing system, reconciliation of creditor statements and dealing with
- queries.
- Closing monthly accounts as per IFRS and supporting the Head of Finance for audit.
- VAT and Corporate Tax Registration on the FTA Portal as and when required
- Submission of VAT and Corporate Tax Returns as and when required
Requirements:
We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication,
organizational and analytical skills.
- Post Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in UAE.
- Experience of working on software like Zoho, Tally and quick books
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm
- or industry position.
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Minimum 3 year experience of UAE VAT
- UAE experience ideally (will be trained up on UAE aspects)
Project Work: There will be involvement in Event Work on an ad-hoc basis.
