Job description
Account manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with clients. Responsible for leading the accounts team supervising, tracking, and evaluating day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and oversee the overall accounting strategy
- Oversee accounting daily operations of team
- Set up and monitor accounting KPIs
- Regularly produce financial reports or statements
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Encourage other employees to adhere to standards
- Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Recruit and hire new employees
- Train new employees
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Monitor and analyze customer engagement.
- Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
- Liaise between the customer and internal teams
Requirements:
- Proven account management or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA are Preferred
- 5 years of experience with at least 3 years of exposure to the UAE market and has proven capacity in Supervisory or Managerial roles
- Superb excel and MS computer skills and familiarity with different accounting/ finance software like QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero Tally, etc.
