Title: Junior Accountant
Function: Accounting and Finance
Reporting to: Chief Accountant
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Role Functions
- Responsible for preparing payments, invoices, receipts, and bank reconciliation in accordance with company policies & procedures.
- Accountable for all local accounting entries on ERP system; and the preparation of monthly financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the annual local audit review process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant degree
- At least 3-4 years of experience as an Accountant in the Wholesale and / or Chemical Industry
- Proven knowledge and experience of local taxation rules and requirements
- Excellent English communication skills
