Reports to: Regional Procurement Manager
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for performing many activities related to the procurement of goods and services for the company, including soliciting quotes, creating purchase orders, obtaining proper PO approvals, and communicating orders to suppliers. Follow up on delivery and pending Invoices if any.
Review/analyze purchase daily requisitions.
Request/review quotes create purchase orders and handle general supplier correspondence.
Communicate approved orders to suppliers, solicit confirmation of receipt and verify acceptability of delivery dates.
Maintain accurate purchasing information in various systems.
Communicate and liaise with suppliers and internal department to ensure efficient/effective operations and build positive relationships.
Maintain necessary documentation to ensure efficient/effective execution of purchasing activities.
Expedite deliveries and resolve other issues associated with purchase requests.
Occasional travel to market to gain a better understanding of processes and the needs of our internal department requisitions.
Manage any procurement activities including RFP’s (Request for Proposals)
Follow SOPs for the Procurement Department.
Fulfil any additional responsibility given by Line Manager.

Prior procurement experience of minimum of 5 years required.
Experience in F&B industry and vendor management is essential.
Qualification and Licenses requirement:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Work experience in using Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
Good negotiation skills and strong in making follow ups
Professional working proficiency in both verbal and written English
Valid UAE driver’s license is a must
