Ultimate Stay is looking for an enthusiastic, strong and proactive leader to join our team as Operations Manager to deal with all our operations needed to run a successful holiday home rental in Dubai. A successful candidate in this role has both strong communication and suppliersā management skills. Ultimately, the candidate must be a problem-solver who create worry-free experiences for our owners and guests with visible and tangible results in the form of guest ratings of our properties.
Tasks & responsibilities
ā¢ Oversee maintenance needs and housekeeping scheduling
ā¢ Coordinate and multi-task job duties in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Ensure properties are in excellent shape to host guests
ā¢ Conduct regular inspections prior to guest arrivals
ā¢ When needed, roll up the sleeves and perform housekeeping and maintenance duties
ā¢ Identify areas for improvement and develop and implement corresponding initiatives
ā¢ Develop documentation templates
ā¢ Prepare maintenance reporting
ā¢ Manage property supplies
ā¢ Assist on preparing new units that will join the portfolio
ā¢ Secure compliance with DTCM reporting requirements and taxes
ā¢ Manage difficult communications with valued guests who are unsatisfied with the service, product or resolution offered
ā¢ Collaborate with the finance team on payments to vendors
ā¢ Work on other tasks as required
ā¢ Codify all the related know-how

ā¢ Professionalism in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
ā¢ Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
ā¢ Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions and multitasking
ā¢ Very orderly approach and familiarity with processes, checklists, etc.

ā¢ Availability to work 6 days a week, early mornings and evenings as needed
ā¢ Leadership skills allowing to create and nurture Operations Team
ā¢ Interest in technology (e.g. smart home apps) and DIY is a plus
ā¢ Prior housekeeping, hospitality, operations experience is a plus
ā¢ English is a must, proficiency in other of the widely spoken languages in the UAE is a plus
ā¢ Adherence to all company policies and procedures
ā¢ Traveling between properties in Dubai is frequent and this person will need their own reliable transportation.
