About the Position:
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal audits particularly in risk assessment, developing the audit programs and other audit-related issues as well as overall review of deliverables.
You will acquire in-depth knowledge of the Company’s business and system of accounting, document process flows/process narratives, risk control matrix and the risk based audit program and perform audit procedures to ensure that the auditees perform their activities in accordance and compliance with the pre-set management policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations; and that the company’s internal controls are adequate and working effectively and efficiently.
The Internal Auditor will also be responsible for testing procedures relevant to risk, test objectives in the audit software, ensure that the audit documentation is available in the software and the audit engagements are closed in a timely manner.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 4-8 years of full time experience in auditing (external or internal). You will have also have a Graduate degree in Accounting with a relevant professional certification such as CIA or CA, CPA, ACCA etc. Experience in automotive or construction industries will be highly advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills with an above average proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of Arabic will help but is not mandatory. Strong knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel would also make you stand out from the crowd.
