Position Summary:
Only Arabic Speaking Candidates with Experience in Manufacturing and retail is a Must.
- position is to manage monthly accounting and book-keeping for a candidate with Tax/VAT and Inventory Accounting Experience in addition to any other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Management. We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced General Accountant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will handle the company accounts in collaboration with the accounting team and Finance management. The ideal candidate must be able to keep detailed records, issue reports promptly and ensure invoicing is issued in a timely manner with correct supporting documents and should be qualified in accounting/finance with a must to have knowledge of VAT and tax systems and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
· Document financial transactions by entering account information
· Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
· Inventory management and control for all warehouses, inventory tracking
· Cost of goods analyzing and
· Summarize current financial status by collecting information
· Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
· Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
· Secure financial information by completing database backups
· Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions
· Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
· Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
· Provide technical support and advice on management
· Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures
· Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
· Provide input into department’s goal setting process
· Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
· Support month-end and year-end close process
· Communicate effectively with clients
· Submit Tax and VAT returns independently for Manufacturing and retail is a Must
Requirements:
· Experience with creating financial statements
· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
· Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards, gaining experience in researching as it relates to accounting issues
· Experience with accounting software manufacturing and retail is a must
· Minimum experience 4-6 years in manufacturing and retail industries.
· Fluent English and Arabic is a must
