Marcura is looking for Commercial Finance Manager to manage and grow the relationships we have with our customers while also solving problems our customers may face when outsourcing their payments to us. This will help you to identify potential areas we can further add value to our customers which in turn drives performance for the company
You will join an ambitious PortPayables team specialized in payment services who are passionate about Shipping and Finance. You will work closely with Head of Payments in the Commercial team looking after our customers.
This is what we really need from you:
· Minimum 3 years managerial experience in an international organization
· Experience in Finance /Accounting in your previous role.
· Commercial experience and stakeholder engagement on a high level.
Your new day to day will be:
- Manage the commercial aspects of the payment service.
- Work closely with customers to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop compelling solutions to customer needs
- Tap into the wider organization to develop customer solutions.
- Embed a commercial, client service focussed approach to all business processes and activities.
- Upsell the payment service to existing and new customers.
- Assist current management with customer engagement.
- Understand and anticipate customers existing and future needs.
- Be in close contact with a given portfolio of customers, build and maintain good working relationships and identify further areas of growth.
- Support PortPayables management with day-to-day tasks
- Identify potential areas of communication improvement.
- Work closely with Operations Managers and provide feedback and support according to requirements.
- Run ad-hoc analysis for customers.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with the business to define commercial/sales strategies
Your background:
· You have a degree in Finance
· It would be great if you have CFA / MBA / CA qualifications
· You come from Shipping industry
