We are recruiting an accountant for OWNER ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT to handle the full cycle accounting for the property development, and to produce financial information as required by the head management, as per the below job description:
- Preparing, reporting, and supervising the day-to-day transactions
- Reconciliation and understanding of all balance sheet accounts and producing monthly financial statements and supplementary reporting as required
- Preparing and monitoring budget and forecasting expenditure
- Support in the closure of payable and received transactions
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and the general ledger accounts
- Monthly bank reconciliations including follow up and correction of outstanding items
- Working on the annual audit preparations
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
- Handling cash positions and keep records
- Ensuring all tenant administration duties are processed per documentation as required
- Preparing paperwork for taxes and tax returns requests
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
- Ensuring all legislated taxes and assessments are reconciled and remitted
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BA in accounting
- Minimum of 5 years experience in financial accounting preferable facilities management
- Previous work experience in the property development company
- Proficient in CRM programs
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, confidentiality, and dedication
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably Arabic
- High knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
