Job Duties and Responsibilities:

People Management

    • Work with the Human Resources Business Partner to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ new employee based on the validated budget
    • Provide oversight and direction to the employees in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures
    • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
    • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
    • Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback
    • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict, and expeditious conflict resolution
    • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall Company’s and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization
    • Grow his/her team members by monitoring their training needs and keeping in mind their career evolution wishes; to work on any performance discrepancies if any
    • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning
    • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, and paid time off, telecommuting, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
    • Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, Teams message, and regular interpersonal communication.
    • Share with the Global Head of Operations and/or the Business Unit Manager the feelings, feedback, mood of his/her team, and any internal or external information that may have an impact (positive or negative) on the Business Unit. This must be done immediately and with the highest degree of transparency.

Projects Execution

    • Plan internal resources according to the forecast make sure that enough OP executives, team leaders, and freelancers (with the help of the OP team leaders) are recruited and trained to deliver and meet the deadlines at all times
    • Ensure that the Evaluators database is a team duty recruitment, onboarding, and retention action plans are in place
    • Monitor the validation have the validation done in house during low activity period and have enough validation freelancers during peak time
    • Depending on the size of the OP team and Business Unit, to handle the most complex programs (able to conduct research for special projects, respond timely to inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings) of the Business Unit
    • Is responsible for the timely assignment and execution of fieldwork as per the Company’s standards, specific mission/client requirements, and project schedule of the Business Unit Operations team
    • Assign OP Team Leaders (if any) or OP executives on specific projects
    • Deal with the Evaluators and Freelance payments with the finance team
    • Inform the Global Head of Operations and the Business Unit Manager on the Projects status on a regular basis
    • Address operational concerns and issues, monitor overall customer satisfaction

Budgets

    • Have control at all times on the costs and use the resources at their best; to be able to set an agile organization within the team
    • Ensure that the Business Unit Operational margin target is reached

Strategy

    • Is responsible for the constant improvement of his/her area of responsibility; to refuse the status quo, to challenge the “comfort zone”, to lead the change.
    • Is responsible for communicating and explaining to his/her team the decisions taken by the Executive Committee, the Global Head of Operations, and/or the Business Unit Manager
    • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

    • Good decision-making skills and response to a high-pressure situation
    • Degree in Administration, Business, Management or related field
    • At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
    • French and Arabic preferred but not essential
