Digital Radiography Technician (DRT)

A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced “Digital Radiography Technician (DRT).”

Qualifications

• Experience working with Digital Radiography Scanner and software ( Preferably the G.E CR25P)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – RT – Level 2 – Radiographic Testing (Required)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – UT – Level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing (Preferred)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (Preferred)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (Preferred)
• IRATA – Rope Access – Level 1 or 2 (Preferred)
• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Offshore medical, annual eye test, BOSIET & MIST certification, and Cat EBS, Bi-Deltoid Measurement (P)
• Third-Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics

• Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant inspection techniques within the oil and gas industry.
• Be proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows-based programs (E)
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. (P)
• Flexible approach and ability to generate a team approach to problem-solving (E)
• Good communicator both written and verbal (E)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Non-essential

• The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post
• Assist with any other duties as and when required
• Undertake specific projects as instructed by management

Functions

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reports to the site supervisor/ superintendent, ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable day-to-day NDT inspection job for our clients.
• If rope access trained. use rope access, under the close supervision of a qualified IRATA Level 3, to access work areas deemed as working at height. (When required)
• NDT Technician Inspection using Radiography, but also if qualified Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Eddy Current Techniques. (Daily Routine)
• Carry Digital Radiography Inspection.
• Ensure that the work area is safe to carry out NDT activities.
• Carry out risk assessments/Take II as required.

Identity Check

• Current document of identity issued by Emirates Identify Authority
• Current driver’s license copy issued by the UAE government (Only for approved drivers of the radiation pick up)
• Secondary Identity Document

    Security Background checks the security background check shall include a security assessment and criminal history check issued by the competent authorities in the UAE.

• Employee may be requested to get a good conduct certificate from the country of origin or a local police clearance certificate

Salary Range: (20,000 AED – 22,000 AED)
