Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager with a proven track record in managing client financials and tax interests within a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) firm in either the ADGM or DIFC. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting, VAT, corporate tax, and financial reporting, with the ability to manage and support clients in these areas directly. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Accounting and Financial Management:
• The preparation and maintenance of client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ADGM/DIFC regulations.
• Manage the full spectrum of accounting services for clients, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and consolidation.
• Provide clients with insights and advice on financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
• VAT and Corporate Tax Compliance:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of VAT returns for clients, in compliance with UAE VAT laws.
• Manage the corporate tax compliance process for clients, including preparation, filing, and liaising with tax authorities as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in VAT and corporate tax legislation and advise clients on the implications for their businesses.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and review financial reports for clients, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and standards.
• Assist clients with year-end financial closing processes, including the preparation of statutory accounts and audit coordination.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting best practices, helping clients to maintain transparent and compliant records.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Act as the primary financial advisor for clients, addressing their accounting, tax, and financial reporting needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients, enhancing their financial operations.
• Regulatory Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure all client financial activities comply with ADGM or DIFC regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and other external parties on behalf of clients to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and manage risks associated with client financial activities, recommending mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support to junior staff on accounting, VAT, corporate tax, and financial reporting matters.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are strongly preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role within a CSP firm in ADGM or DIFC.
• Extensive experience in managing client accounting, VAT, corporate tax, and financial reporting services.
• In-depth knowledge of ADGM/DIFC regulatory frameworks and financial practices.
