Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and oversee a wide range of accounting functions with a focus on strategic financial management.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing strategic financial insights, and guiding decision-making processes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee and manage complex accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, financial regulations, and local tax laws.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions and ensure adherence to international banking regulations.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in collaboration with other departments.
• Conduct thorough internal audits to maintain financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• UAE Driving License holder.

Job Type:

• Full-Time onsite job.
• (7.5) Working hours daily, Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one-hour lunch break.
• Base: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
