We’re Hiring: Senior Accountant | Dubai, UAE

Are you ready to take ownership of treasury operations at a high-performing investment group? We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team at Al Khaleej Investment, based at our Dubai Head Office.

This is your opportunity to work across multiple bank accounts, lead cash flow strategies and liaise directly with banks and auditors — all while contributing to a dynamic portfolio of diversified investments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Treasury & Cash Management

  • Monitor daily cash positions across subsidiaries and the holding company
  • Manage liquidity planning and initiate payments
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations; resolve discrepancies
  • Build cash flow forecasts and short-term liquidity plans
  • Manage loan drawdowns, repayments, covenant tracking, and facility utilization across entities
  • Liaise with banks on term sheets, RCFs, and other credit facilities

2. Financial Reporting & Audit

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts across group and subsidiaries (hands-on bookkeeping)
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS/GAAP compliant)
  • Lead month-end and year-end closings and ensure audit readiness
  • Manage statutory and regulatory audits; coordinate with external auditors
  • Support investor relations with accurate, timely financial metrics
  • Oversee share transaction reporting and ensure timely disclosures

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Insights

  • Build and consolidate annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Provide financial insights and cost-control recommendations across the group
  • Prepare management dashboards and MIS reports for internal review
  • Submit economic surveys and reporting obligations to authorities

4. Tax & Compliance

  • Manage VAT and corporate tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee tax planning across subsidiaries and group
  • Maintain internal controls and risk mitigation systems

5. ERP & Process Improvement

  • Enhance ERP-based reporting and streamline finance operations
  • Standardize processes across subsidiaries for scale and efficiency
  • Drive automation and system-led improvements where possible

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, investor relations, and regulatory authorities
  • Work seamlessly with finance teams across subsidiaries and standalone entities
  • Prepare Board-level presentations for treasury, banking, and financial performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, treasury, and banking within a multi-entity environment
  • Mandatory experience in a listed company, with strong understanding of regulatory timelines, disclosure obligations, and audit processes
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA) is a must with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting
  • Proven ability to manage hands-on accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and full-cycle financial reporting
  • Prior exposure to investment holding companies, real estate entities, or financial institutions preferred
  • Experience with treasury operations, including loan facility management, covenant tracking, and short-term liquidity planning
  • Confident user of ERP systems and advanced Excel; able to enhance reporting tools and automate manual workflows
  • Familiarity with market data tools (e.g. Bloomberg), with the ability to interpret global financial developments and assess local impact
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate numbers into actionable management insights
  • Comfortable preparing Board-level presentations and engaging with banks, external auditors, investor relations, and legal advisors
  • Well-connected within the accounting, audit, legal, and advisory ecosystem, with a professional network that can add value
  • Highly organized and able to independently manage multiple subsidiaries’ accounts and timelines without supervision
  • Solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Enjoys working in a small but dynamic team, and willing to grow the function while learning on the job
