Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.) and will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, and guiding a team of 4 junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee and finalize payroll preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and tax filings.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Mentor and guide a team of 4 junior accountants.
• Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CA Intermediate or Articleship completed (mandatory).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (candidates will undergo an Excel proficiency test).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with payroll processing and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
