A glimpse of your typical workday
To lead and manage the sales operations for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region, driving growth across Traditional Trade, Food Service, and Wholesale channels. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, improving market presence, managing key customer relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Drive performance across Traditional Trade, Food Service, and Wholesale channels.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, coach, and mentor the sales team
- Set clear KPIs and monitor team performance to ensure accountability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus.
Market Development & Customer Management
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand customer base and grow market share.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and HoReCa clients.
- Negotiate trade terms, promotional activities, and ensure effective in-market execution.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure proper coverage, route planning, and efficient territory management.
- Monitor stock levels, credit control, and sales collections in coordination with Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize performance and report key insights to senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain for seamless execution of campaigns and availability of products.
- Provide insights from the field to influence product development and promotional strategies.
What will make you stand out
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, or relevant field; MBA is a plus.
- 6+ years of relevant sales experience in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong exposure to Abu Dhabi market, especially in Traditional Trade, Food Service, and Wholesale segments.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver on aggressive sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Valid UAE driving license.
