Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the finance department.

Accounts Payable Operations:

  • Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processes for the companies within the group, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Implement and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for accounts payable.

Cost Center Management:

  • Monitor and manage cost centers across the group of companies to ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain cost center budgets.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on cost center performance to senior management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of accounts payable processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports to senior management.
  • Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.

Process Improvement and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable processes through automation and technology.
  • Lead initiatives to implement new systems or tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable management.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate payment terms and resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in finance or financial management with 5 years in a leadership capacvity
  • A background in either Construction and/or Real Estate Development
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Strong understanding of local financial regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
