Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant, located in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budget preparation. Additionally, the role involves processing payroll, handling tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. The General Accountant will also work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and reconciling accounts
- Experience in budget preparation, payroll processing, and handling tax returns
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with different departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred
