Accounts Receivable Accountant

• Manage Invoices and Billings.
• Generate customer invoices promptly to ensure timely payments.
• Track outstanding payments and communicating with customers.
• Monitor and Collecting Payments.
• Regularly review accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Record payment details and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Compile and analyze data related to accounts receivable.
• Provide insightful reports to upper management.
• Verify, compute, and record accounts receivables.
• Reconcile Accounts.
• Handle petty cash fund, ensure it is used appropriately, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Regularly reconcile the petty cash account to ensure that all expenditures are accounted.
• Record and categorize petty cash expenses, document them and support them by receipts.
• Prepare reports on petty cash usage and balances for management review.
• Comply with company policies and procedures for all petty cash transactions.
• Auditing: Assisting with internal and external audits related to petty cash.
• Process requests for petty cash disbursements and maintains accurate records of all transactions.
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
• Managing income and expenditure accounts.
• Maintains financial internal controls.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
• Minimum 3-5 years of sound experience in an auditing firm or handling a similar role.
• Experience with ERP, Accounting software and data entry.
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures.
• High proficiency and sound experience with spreadsheets.
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
