Accountant (Automotive)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations

• Ensure all accounting transactions are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Review statements to ensure accountability and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation that meet audit and management requirements.
• Regularly review accounting books, ledgers, statements, and systems to keep financial data up to date and support timely reporting.

Financial Control & Compliance

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and timely information.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts and resolve outstanding items.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Make best-practice recommendations to management and help develop and implement accounting policies.
• Suggest initiatives to reduce costs, improve revenue, and enhance profitability.
• Follow best practices in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable to maintain a healthy cash flow.

Support & Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as required by the Chief Accountant.
• Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in all tasks to support company strategic goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Accounting.
• Certifications: CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., ERP, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.
