Accountant

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and business strategies.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting systems and processes.
• Conduct audits to identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecast future financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Provide financial advice and support to clients or internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 – 10+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Ability to regularly travel to the Middle East (accommodation and transportation costs are fully covered).
• Knowledge of Arabic is not required as all projects are delivered in English, but it would be an additional asset.
