About Us:

We are a fast-growing, vertically integrated coffee business, with a strong presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage our financial records, support daily transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including thegeneral ledger, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements.

• Prepare variousschedules, workings, and reports for the month-end closing of books.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, andfinancial analysis to support decision-making.

• Support the Finance Manager in carrying out departmental responsibilities.

Cash & Bank Transactions:

•Collect cash, POS transactions, and cheques from the sales team daily.

• Preparepay-in slips and ensure daily deposits into bank accounts.

• Verify and account forcash, cheques, and bank remittances received from customers in the ERP system.

• Performbank reconciliation and cash-in-hand reconciliation on a daily basis.

Accounts Receivable & Collections:

• Generatecustomer statements of accounts from the ERP system and share them with customers.

•Follow up with the sales team and customers for pending payments daily.

Accounts Payable & Payroll:

• Processaccounts payable transactions, ensuring balances match supplier records.

• Prepare and processmonthly payroll, including generating and submitting WPS files.

• Calculategratuity, overtime, and final settlements in compliance with UAE labor laws.

Tax & Compliance:

• Assist in filingVAT and excise returns by maintaining proper financial records.

• Coordinateexternal audits by preparing documentation and addressing auditor queries.

• Implement and maintaininternal financial controls to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and accounting principles.

Other Responsibilities:

• Preparead hoc reports as required by the Finance Manager.

• Assist in system improvements and process optimization for better financial efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or coffee-related businesses.

• Strong knowledge ofUAE VAT regulations, WPS payroll processing, and UAE labor laws.

• Experience withERP accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP).

• Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
