We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide Technical / Networking support to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.
Should have good knowledge of Servers, Routers, Switches, Bridges, Wireless access point and Wireless controllers with 3 to 4 years of technical experience.
Job responsibility includes support to customers on various locations.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers, routers ( Sonicwall & Microtik), Wireless devices like access points, Controllers & Switches
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- First-rate customer focus, phone etiquette and work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure with calmness and composure
- Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills using operational and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to take on shift work, holidays, weekends and on-call responsibilities
