- Preparation of client background memorandum (e.g. KYC, Permanent file).
- Audit planning document wherein performing an analytical review of financial results and identification and assessment of audit risk.
- Review Walkthrough procedures performed by Trainee.
- Perform a Walkthrough for key areas and document in the Caseware.
- Document the Walk-Through process, observe, identify and note the variation in the process.
- Perform a test based on the observation made to cross verify the effectiveness and appropriateness of the process.
- Execution of areas (Document testing/vouching and substantive analysis) assigned to them – as per audit program approved by respective Manager.
- Concluding final audits wherein summarized key audit risk areas, internal control observations, and resolution of final audit review matters and queries. (e.g. Preparing PFD, and pending list).
- Execution of areas (Document testing/vouching and substantive analysis) assigned to them – as per audit program approved by the respective supervisor.
- If you are assigned as team leader “Review the team’s work before submission to supervisor”.
RequirementsQualification: CA (ICAI)
Work Experience: 5 years inclusive of 3 years of articles with an audit firm.
Knowledge of Caseware (audit software) is an added advantage.
