Chief Accountant Job in Abu Dhabi
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities, ensuring seamless operations.
- Ensure that all financial records under your purview are maintained in compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with tax filing and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual expenditures, driving accountability and strategic decision-making.
- Manage payroll processes in the system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of salaries and leave entitlements.
- Collaborate with the admin and Area Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective management of AMCs, licenses, and maintenance of assets.
- Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide insights into net revenue losses, operating costs, and other key expenses.
- Evaluate and enhance internal control systems to protect the integrity of our financial processes.
- Monitor daily performance within the accounting department, ensuring all financial deadlines are met and operations run smoothly.
- Liaise with other departments to develop best practices for financial management, enhancing overall profitability.
- Assist in crafting and implementing strategic financial plans alongside executive leadership, aligning with our growth and profitability objectives.
