Role Summary
The Pricing Manager for Quick Commerce will develop customer fee pricing models that capture willingness to pay while ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and market growth across 8 markets. The role includes monitoring market dynamics, exploring pricing hypotheses for sub-verticals, running A/B tests to assess pricing impacts, tracking performance to meet targets, and collaborating with General Managers and senior leadership to align pricing strategies with business goals.
What’s on Your Plate?
- Develop and implement value-based pricing models for the Quick Commerce vertical tha capture customers’ willingness to pay while ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and market growth across all 8 markets
- Lead a small team of senior pricing analysts responsible for exploring opportunities to further develop our Quick Commerce price model and streamline its execution and maintenance with the regional pricing team
- Continuously monitor market dynamics, including a shift in customer behavior, competitor landscape, regulatory changes, economic trends, and global best practices, to be considered in pricing strategies
- Explore pricing hypothesis on a sub-vertical level (dark stores, groceries, pharmacies, speciality stores etc.) to be validated through A/B tests in order to assess pricing impacts, extract insights, and implement data-driven recommendations
- Track pricing performance against budget targets, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and adherence to financial objectives
- Manage stakeholders, including Quick Commerce General Managers of each market and other senior leadership, to align pricing strategies with overall business goals
What you need to be successful
What Did We Order?
- 4+ years of experience in leading functions or business units. Previous experience in management consulting, pricing positions or tech will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful (pricing) strategies in a multi-market
environment - Previous experience in the groceries, retail, and food delivery landscape across diverse markets will be an added advantage
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels and manage senior leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional regional languages are a plus
