About the job
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Expert with a strong background in banking, investment management, and corporate finance. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), risk assessment, and deal structuring, playing a key role in financial strategy, capital management, and investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) & Investment Strategy:
- Lead and execute M&A transactions, including financial due diligence, deal structuring, and valuation assessments.
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets, joint ventures, and divestiture opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and tax teams to ensure proper structuring and regulatory alignment.
- Prepare investment proposals, term sheets, and presentations for senior executives and board members.
Risk Management & Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks to mitigate financial, investment, and credit risks.
- Monitor financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes to inform investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, Basel frameworks, and financial reporting standards.
- Optimize capital allocation and liquidity management for business expansion and strategic initiatives.
Deal Execution & Closing:
- Oversee end-to-end deal execution, ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
- Negotiate key financial terms with banks, institutional investors, and financial advisors.
- Manage post-merger integration and synergy realization.
- Work closely with investment banks, private equity firms, and rating agencies on financing structures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in banking, investment management, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
- Proven track record in executing complex M&A transactions, investment strategies, and risk assessment.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
- Familiarity with investment banking, asset management, private equity, and structured finance.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes financial environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cross-border transactions, capital markets, and investment structuring.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the banking and investment industry.
- Established relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
