Job Description/Role
The ideal candidate will be involved with supporting the sales team for flawless document preparation, logistical support, ensuring end-to-end documentation for smooth execution of orders etc. In addition, the candidate should also proactively follow up and coordinate with various departments, counter parties, government & external agencies to ensure utmost customer satisfaction. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare documents such as Cost sheet, Proforma Invoice, Sale & Purchase Agreement, Import & Export documents, shipping instructions etc. Microsoft CRM software is used as the platform for creation of PI & Contracts
- Ensure the cargo from the port is released on time without incurring demurrages and move the cargo to nominated destination in co-ordination with the transport companies
- Coordinate with suppliers/manufacturers regarding the shipment and verify all required documentations for customs are in order
- Negotiate with Government Ministries, shipping companies, transporters and Insurance providers for best and competitive rates
- Meet the expectation of customers by managing the deliveries promptly
- Review LCs on both sales and purchase side to match its compliance with Contracts and Agreements
- Prepare BL instruction, check the draft BL and advise corrections to the shipping line and to the suppliers
- Obtain shipment information proactively from the suppliers and intimate it to the customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar field
- Bachelor Degree
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
