Job Responsibilities:
– Oversee the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
– Greet and welcome guests, guiding them to their tables and presenting menus.
– Supervise and support waitstaff to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to company standards.
– Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
– Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
– Monitor the dining area to anticipate and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
– Ensure that tables are set correctly, and the dining area is clean and well-maintained at all times.
– Handle guest complaints with professionalism, aiming to resolve any issues quickly and satisfactorily.
– Train new waitstaff on service techniques, menu knowledge, and company policies.
– Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize table occupancy and optimize the guest experience.
– Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, equipment, and utensils to ensure everything is in excellent working condition.
– Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
– Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment, fostering teamwork and communication among staff.
– Prepare daily reports on service operations and guest feedback, presenting them to management for review.
– Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring all staff follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
