Job Description FINANCIAL ANALYST Location: Dubai, UAE Contract: Full Time Role Overview
- Key objective of this role is to maintain accurate financial records and analysis for related Synthes UAE reporting
Accounting Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct month-end close activities to ensure accounting records are up-to-date based on standard accounting practices
- Review financial transactions for accuracy, liaising with other GS teams (incl. Payroll, Intercompany, Treasury) to raise and resolve concerns on a timely manner, maintaining reconciliations for critical accounts
- Manage accounts payable process, including identifying potential risks of non-payment
- Maintain controls, updating policies and procedures as per compliance requirements
Analysis
- Prepare management reports and perform financial analysis for BVAs and quarterly reviews and submissions
- Assist in budgeting cycles and forecasting, including projecting cashflow requirements for monthly netting
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Finance
- Highly skilled in MS Excel; ability to work with large datasets quickly and efficiently
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under time pressure while keeping high level of quality
- Strong communication skills; ability to summarize and articulate complex concepts in simple ways
- Ability to work in a highly complex, dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of SAP are an advantage
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
