We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with all applicable excise tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage and maintain accurate records, prepare tax filings, and support overall tax planning efforts.
Job Description:
Prepare and file excise tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor changes in excise tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data for tax calculations and reporting.
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
Assist in analyzing tax implications of business decisions and provide recommendations.
Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and provide necessary documentation.
Support tax audits and reviews, as needed.
Contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes and procedures.

Qualification and Experience:
Qualifications Required: Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, taxation, finance, or related field.
A professional (tax or accounting) Certification (i.e. CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
Proficiency in relevant tax software and MS Office Suite.
With or without work experience.
