Job Summary:
ACG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Services Operations Manager to oversee our UAE operations and drive business development initiatives in the areas of Scaffold access, Surface Preparation and Coating application, Passive Fire Protection, all types of Thermal Insulation, Rope Access, and Refractory services.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of our industrial services division, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record in business development in the UAE within the industrial services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the industrial services division, including scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, all types of thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory services.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve service delivery in these areas.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices for scaffold access, surface preparation and coating and Passive fire protection, all types of thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory services.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to these services and implement corrective measures to achieve operational targets and financial goals.
- Lead a team of supervisors and technicians specialized in these services, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and quality workmanship.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships with clients, vendors, and suppliers in scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, all types of thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory sectors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in these service areas.
- Create and execute business development plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue for scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in these service areas, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to develop comprehensive business proposals and pricing strategies specific to these services.
- Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company in scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory projects.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices specific to these services, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance and industry-leading expertise.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial services operations management, focusing on scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory services.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of these services, including relevant techniques, materials, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and profitability in scaffold access, surface preparation and coating application, passive fire protection, all types of thermal insulation, rope access, and refractory sectors.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools.
