A Leading L&D Company in Dubai is urgently looking to hire an Accountant with excellent organizational skills, can work independently or part of a Team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, proficient in accounting functions, preparing reports with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform General Accounting functions, maintain Ledgers, accounting records, and other related duties in daily administration of the accounting department
• Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Preparation of invoices, JVs, reconciliations and closing books monthly / quarterly.
• Handle day-to-day banking transactions and communications
• Performs Cost Accounting functions

Additional Skills & Requirements :

• Ensuring timely and accurate records in accordance with company accounting policies and generally accepted accounting standards.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.
• Ability to handle business correspondences.
• Knowledge of VAT Return submission

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in the Finance & Accounting
• 2 to 5 Years of experience in similar capacity
• GCC experience a plus
