Job Description as below
- Assisting and maintain financial accounting systems and procedures for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, bookkeeping, petty cash.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Coordinate with the procurement team and develop appropriate plans for credit enhancement, prompt payment discount strategy and vendor payment program.
- Monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling. Advise senior accountant on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning.
- Prepare cash flow and fund flow statement for clients by taking into consideration the anticipated receipts and payment, highlights significant cash flow variances compared to the budget and advise on short term placement of surplus funds to maximize it.
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
- Liaise with the internal auditors to facilitate completion of statutory audits as per agreed schedules and ensure all recommendations and findings identified during audit are acted upon promptly with necessary action implemented.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Ensure that company financial systems and policies are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
