We are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Al Ghurair Ventures.
In this role you will be responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and monthly closing of GL modules. Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure generating accurate and timely financial information within the Company.
Candidates with at least 4-5 years experience in Big 4 firms preferred.
Responsibilities
•Ensure that transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS and company policy for accurate and timely closing of books in ERP.
• Generate system reports and calculations for functional areas of billing, payroll processing and account payable to ensure internal and external audit requirements are met.
• Prepare funding requirements from bank through analyzing of trade payable to ensure efficient utilization and timely availability of funds for business.
• Assist in preparation and compilation of budgets for accurate and timely submission of business plan.
• Preparation of all critical Balance sheet and P&L schedules on a monthly basis and detailed schedules for year end audit.
• Ensure all leases have been accurately recorded as per IFRS 16 guidelines.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and Budget vs Actual analysis to review the performance of the Company.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Certified Accountant – CA, ACCA, CMA, ICEWA
- 5 years of experience preferably Automotive background
- Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards and IFRS
- SAP S4 HANA experience is required
- Knowledge of UAE VAT
- Analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software such as Microsoft Excel and Oracle.
- Ability to work independently
