Aldar Education is currently seeking a Temporary Finance Officer for an immediate start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Madinat Zayed Campus, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Western Region).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and verify all receipts against the bank statements and make sure cheques, cash, and bank transfers have been properly receipted and deposited.
  • Management of confirm receipts and make sure cash and cheques in hand have been deposited.
  • Actively follow-up late payments and returned cheques with parents.
  • Respond to parents’ requirements and inquiries related to finance.
  • Sign clearance on the Student Withdrawal Forms after all dues have been collected for withdrawing students. Acts as a liaison between the company and external auditors to meet information needs and to ensure that accurate information is maintained for historical purposes.
  • Receivable reconciliation – Ensure Orisson receivables are matched and for any deviances pass necessary journal entries. Checking of outstanding balances of each Student account in Orisson.
  • Monitoring and controlling unapplied receipts by allocating them against outstanding invoices.
  • Monitor and control unidentified deposits, and reconcile against monthly collection reports.
  • Collect all required documentation for fee discounts and submit this to Central Finance team for review (Western Region Only).
  • Issuing fee invoices and assisting Head of Invoicing during termly issuance of school invoices.
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly schedules for
  • Tuition fees receivable and registration fees,
  • Unidentified, confirmed, unapplied, refunds / bounced cheques.
  • Advances and excursions.
  • Monitoring ADNOC Group invoicing wherever applicable and book necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent degree in Accounts & Finance
  • More than 2 experience in Accounts & Finance especially General Ledger
  • Knowledge of Accounts is the minimum requirement
  • Knowledge of Billing & Receivables is added advantage
  • Should have good communication & Analytical skills
  • English & Arabic is mandatory
