Job Description/Role
We are actively seeking for Senior Finance Manager to lead our Real Estate/Development and Contracting/Construction business units.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and annual budget reports
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
- Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Validating marketing invoices, preparing payments to suppliers and preparing marketing invoices
- Validating deals files and calculating external party and internal staff commission
- Disbursement of commission to agents
- Verifying and preparing the client maintenance payments
- Computation and payment of staff salaries on a monthly basis
- Advising and assisting the Management in the compilation and control of the budget
- Ensuring appropriate financial control in compliance with UAE legislation
- Advising on the improvement of financial management system, internal control system and the use of financial management software
- Cooperating with external auditors to carry out the annual external audit process
- Supervising the day-to-day operation of the finance department
- Other financial management duties assigned by the Chairmen’s office
- Directed adequate systems of internal control to ensure accuracy and adequacy of accounting records and documentation, including appropriate procedure.
- Ensure all financial transaction is complying with Group Financial policy.
- Fund & Working Capital management.
- Finalization of Accounts, Finalization of External Audit/Internal Audit, Budgeting and monitoring the same with Actuals.
Requirements
- Degree in finance/accounting or related (essential).
- Experience working for a Real Estate Developer or Construction/Contracting Company
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Solid proficiency in SAP, MS Dynamics and other financial planning software.
