ROLE:

We are looking for a passionate Accountant to join our law firm in Dubai. Passion is a must. So is knowledge, and the below requirements. This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at HPL Yamalova & Plewka DMCC located in Dubai. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, such as managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• U.A.E. corporate experience in accounting for at least 3 years.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a must.
• Knowledgeable of the U.A.E. accounting framework and tax laws.
• Familiar with the billing practices of law firms.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Highly proficient in Excel, tables, diagrams, flow charts, etc.
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great time management and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and drafting skills, especially with correspondences.
• Quick learner.
• Proactive.
• Tech-savvy.
• Strong team player, yet able to work independently.
• Love for numbers and formulas.
• Candidate must be based in the U.A.E.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations is a plus
