Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records: This includes recording all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial statements: Accountants must prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to communicate the financial position of the company to stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets: Accountants must monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to help the company make informed financial decisions.
• Prepare tax returns: Accountants must prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards: Accountants must ensure compliance with accounting standards, such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Analyze financial data: Accountants must analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is typically required for accountant positions in the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations: Accountants in the UAE must have knowledge of local accounting regulations, such as the UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with accounting software: Experience with accounting software, such as Zoho ,QuickBooks or SAP, is typically required for accountant positions.
• Attention to detail: Accountants must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong communication skills: Accountants must be able to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders within the company.
