Job Title: Accounts Officer & Executive Assistant
Department: Finance and Administration
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Officer & Executive Assistant to provide both financial and administrative support to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Liaise with auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial systems and procedures.
Administrative and Executive Support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare and draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Assist with company liaison, including government agencies and external stakeholders.
- Manage timely follow-ups on pending issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Tally, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Proactive and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills.
